A Force for Good in Wyoming County

The Wyoming Foundation was established in 1976 and is a division of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo. Guided by a group of dedicated local residents, the Wyoming Foundation is committed to bringing people together, connecting partners and sparking collaboration to respond to our community’s changing needs. The Wyoming Foundation actively supports a wide variety of cultural, educational and human service organizations in Wyoming County.

  • Grantee Spotlight

    The Wyoming Foundation awarded a 2025 grant to Insightful Strides, a nonprofit that works to decrease the prevalence of mental health and substance abuse issues by providing unique mental health services to youth and their families through experiential therapy, which utilizes games, art, crafts, nature and horses within the therapy sessions.

  • Grantee Spotlight

    The Wyoming Foundation awarded a grant to Shake on the Lake, a nonprofit that brings high-quality professional theatre productions and innovative arts education programming to Silver Lake and Wyoming County residents.
